Overview

Great opportunity in our Customer Care Department.  If you are looking for a career rather than a day job than this is the position for you.  This Inside Sales/Customer Care Representative provides exceptional service support to sales, customers, distribution centers, and other company locations local and overseas concerning orders, stock availability, delivery and quotations.  This support must be conducted in a professional manner including accuracy and timeliness of the information along with providing a positive experience for the customer.

Responsibilities

  1. Responds to price and product availability inquiries from service centers and customers in a timely and accurate fashion consistent with company policies.
  2. Accurately prepares quotations for customer bids in the timeframe required by the customer.
  3. Processes orders, debits, credits and returns to meet the requirements from customers.
  4. Monitors, maintains and follow up orders to assure on time delivery.
  5. Effectively handles intra-company transactions as needed.
  6. Support International, EMC and Wire Customer Service activities as required.

Required Qualifications

  1. High School Diploma or GED
  2. Detail oriented, ability to perform multiple tasks, and excellent communication skills. 
  3. Strong computer skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Preferred Qualifications

  1. 3-5+ years in Inside Sales, Customer Care or related field. 
  2. Experience with ERP Applications: JDEdwards, Oracle, SAP desirable.
