Customer Service - Inside Sales

Great opportunity in our Customer Care Department.  If you are looking for a career rather than a day job than this is the position for you.  This Customer Care/Inside Sales Representative provides exceptional service support to sales, customers, distribution centers, and other company locations local and overseas concerning orders, stock availability, delivery and quotations.  This support must be conducted in a professional manner including accuracy and timeliness of the information along with providing a positive experience for the customer.



Duties & Responsibilities

  • Requests sufficient information from customer or field personnel to accurately handle and complete each transaction.
  • Accurately determines product availability, location, and viability of shipment to customer.
  • Prioritizes work so all deadlines are met.
  • Effectively handles calls in such a manner as to assure the caller's satisfaction.
  • Recognizes problems and assists the customer or field personnel by advising of proper procedures or the proper department to best assist them with their problem.
  • Monitors and maintains quotations and orders to assure on time delivery of all orders shipping from their location.
  • Works in conjunction with operations and sales to effectively process orders for customers.
  • Backup Purchasing and order entry.


Required Qualifications

  • Requires high degree of initiative.
  • Fast paced environment requires attention to detail, ability to perform multiple tasks, and superior communication skills.
  • Must have computer skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Requires high school diploma or GED and relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years in Inside Sales, Customer Care or related field. 
  • Experience with ERP Applications: JDEdwards, Oracle, SAP desirable.
