The Technical Sales Manager is responsible for supporting the EMC Mobile Sales Force in all things relating to field operation of Camesa EMC products. This position should be available to travel, globally if necessary, to installation facilites and trouble shoot customer cable problems and assist sales and engineering in developing customer facing reports to aid in dispute resolution and complaint negotiations. This position is also responsible for developing and maintaining business with accounts within an assigned district as well creating and implementing strategies to develop new business. This individual will also analyze markets, competitors and sales trends, forecast product requirements, and manage customer inquiries to achieve sales and market objectives.
Initially no supervisory responsibility but must have the skill set necessary to eventually move into a management position.
Ideally located in central Texas and willing to travel within sales territory regularly with ability to travel to all service centers globally as needed. Candidate must have operational experience running wireline for oil & gas service company and be comfortable speaking to customers about field operations. Ability to speak in front of customers to give cable schools and answer customer questions a must.
5 + years of sales or operations experience in wireline industry.
Proven success in developing new markets and building strong relationships.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
A track record of success in a highly independent environment with minimal oversight; and adaptability to a high growth, changing environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required. ERP experience preferred.
